Picture Books

Growing up pictures books have always been my favorite! I loved being about to see the story I was reading and connect it to the text. It all made so much more sense to me. When you are able to not only see the literatue, but see the characters it allows you to play the scense over and over again. Also in chapter 4 of the textbook I learned that picture books have their own categories. I thought "picture" books were in their own category. It all makes so much more sense now. The text describes Alphabet picture books on page 73. I loved the book Alpha Oops by Bob Kolar. There are picture story books, wordless picture books, concept books, and so many more.
