Annotated Bib

Throughout the semester we've had to read a number of books for the course. I took a long time and picked a wide range of books that I would enjoy, instead of randomly selecting books that would be a pain in the neck to read. I used a number of websites to help me with my selection: www.goodreads.com www.amazon.com www.barnesandnoble.com www.google.com www.dawl.com www.youtube.com (and more) One thing that I dicovered through my research and from reading the textbook was book trailers. They are exactly like movie trailers but for books. I even watched a book trailer for some of my author study books to help me pick. Chapter 11 in our text books discusses book trailers. They give the resource of www.voicethread.com which I unfortunately have not tried yet. On page 373 the book talks about how book trailers are satisfactory to multiple senses and learning styles as well as being able to understand the "heart" of the story.
